Why does NPM have a year round calendar?
We have studied multiple research projects which support the importance of year round schooling. Children have an opportunity to practice their skills and master lessons without large interruptions during the summer months. Children are also offered the opportunity to experience more well-rounded education with real-life, hands on activities such as planting, harvesting, and preparing food from our school garden. Our Children’s House and Elementary students experience roughly 30 additional contact days than students in attendance in other traditional calendar setting!

Half-day Schedule 8:30am-12:30pm Monday-Friday
Before School Option 7:00am-8:15am Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-8:15am Friday
After School Option 3:00pm-5:00pm Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-4:00pm Friday

October 27-29, 2025- STEM Camp
March 09-12, 2026- TBD
Camps are held Monday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-2:00pm. No before or after school program is available during camp week. Prior arrangements must be made via signup genius.
